Installs and decommissions in your cabinets, finished with photos and an updated rack map.
Tenant-side patching, cable dressing and labelling that survives the next engineer.
Drives, PSUs, fans and optics replaced against your ticket, RMAs handled.
We're the keyboard; your team is the brain, live on a call.
LEDs, temperatures, labels, serials — verified in person and reported back.
Hardware delivered to our Salford warehouse and brought in for the install.
The MaNOC estate splits across Trafford Park and Birley Fields — we cover both.
Smart Hands is an independent remote hands provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ANS. We attend as your authorised visitor, under your own colocation access arrangements.
One rate across every MaNOC, with whole-hour billing per engineer.
Flat, per engineer. No VAT on top.
Billed in whole hours on-site. Travel time is never billed.
Nights, weekends and bank holidays cost the same £95/hour.
Every estimate carries a Not To Exceed cap — if a job looks like it'll pass it, we pause and ask first. Full detail at billing explained.
As your authorised contractor: you arrange named access under your colocation agreement, we bring ID and follow site procedure. We can supply engineer details in advance for vetting where required.
Yes — the two locations are a short hop apart, so a Work Order can span MaNOC 4–7 and MaNOC 8 in a single run.
Yes. Monthly or quarterly checks — visual inspections, swap batches, audit photos — work well as scheduled Work Orders, and retainers improve the rate for regular volume.
That's a 1-hour Work Order at £95 — still cheaper than an engineer's afternoon on the M60. We confirm with your team on a call before touching anything.
Tell us which one and what needs doing — we'll take it from there.
